Update: Historian and Vice Chair of the Gilpin County Historic Preservation Commission, B. Travis Wright, MPS, nominated the East Portal Camp Cabins at the Moffat Tunnel as a Gilpin County Historic Landmark. This landmark application was unanimously approved by the Gilpin County Board of County Commissioners on June 13, 2023. Read more here.
