The Moffat Road
“David Moffat, who was president of the Denver, Northwestern & Pacific Railway, would never see the culmination of his dreams realized—the construction of a massive tunnel bored through the Rocky Mountains that trimmed miles off the journey instead of going around or over the ageless mountain range towards Craig, Colorado, along tracks known as the Moffat Road.” (description of The Moffat Road: Rollins Pass, page 8)
