Railroad workers referred to the majestic waterfall on Rollins Pass as Buttermilk Falls, affirming the phrase “They look like buttermilk, don’t they?” No matter the name, they are as the railroad workers also exclaimed, an “unforgettable beauty.” Snowmelt swells the falls in early July, and the roar of rushing water can be heard across the canyon. Corona Station Photography utilizes handheld, mounted, tripod, gimballed, and aerial photography mediums. All drone photography was flown under an FAA Part 107 certificate and all flights complied with the rules set forth by the FAA for UAS flights within the United States; no drones took off, landed, or were operated from wilderness. Night small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) operations are authorized under a 14 CFR § 107.29 Daylight Operations Waiver/Certificate of Waiver. B. Travis Wright, MPS is a representative with the FAA Safety Team (FAASTeam) as a DronePro to help establish a positive safety culture within the aviation community.
